Jacks Forward Michael Kadlecik Makes D1 Commitment to Air Force

The Jackalopes are very proud to announce that forward Michael Kadlecik has committed to continue playing hockey at the Air Force Academy (NCAA D1). “It is a huge honor for me to be able to attend such a highly looked upon school. It is a very rewarding feeling knowing how much work it took for me to accomplish this lifelong goal of mine” said Kadlecik.

This is Kadlecik’s 2nd season with the Jacks. He is a Lansing, NY native and an ‘04 birth year. Last season Kadlecik played a good chunk of the season, totaling 47 games with 3 goals and 12 assists for 15 points. Currently this season Kadlecik has played in all 18 games where he has 4 goals and 5 assists for 9 points. He has been a vital part of the offense along with being on the first power play unit for the Jacks. 

The Air Force Academy plays NCAA D1 hockey in the Atlantic conference. They have had one selection to the NHL, Brian Gornick was selected in the 1999 NHL Draft by the Anaheim Mighty Ducks in the 9th round.   

The Jacks next contests are this Friday and Saturday on the road against the Shreveport Mudbugs, both games will start at 7:11 P.M. CDT. You can catch all the games on NAHLTV and YouTube.
