About Slapjack
Since 1997, Slapjack has been entertaining hockey fans in the Permian Basin with his crazy antics, his wholesome theatrics and welcoming personality. Even when there is action on the ice Slapjack is the life of the party, making fans of all ages laugh and smile. Whether he’s meeting new friends, guest-conducting a band, riding his four-wheeler, or just being the freak of nature that comes with being a Jackalope, Slapjack is a force to be reckoned with when it comes to mascot entertainment.
When not at the Ector County Coliseum or in the community, Slapjack spends his time on his carrot ranch. It’s location is a mystery to the general public. There he makes carrot cake, watches Star Wars and Marvel movies while practicing his slap-shot.
